Taxi-Liner is a universal platform that allows flexible transport of KLT containers of various sizes. It is possible to dock two trolleys with dimensions of 1200×800 [mm], four 600×800 [mm] or eight 600×400 [mm] to the platform. Regardless of the number of docked containers, the total weight of the cargo is 2 tons, the exception is the situation in which we dock 2 trolleys 1200×800 – then each of them can weight 500kg – this is due to safety reasons and ergonomics of work. Taxi-Liner can be loaded and unloaded on both sides of the transport route. The platform has also been equipped with an active traction system – developed by WAMECH system of four wheels controlled by an angular movement of the drawbar.

ACTIVE TRACTION SYSTEM

Coupled platforms move along a route determined by movements of the truck. This is achieved due to the ‘forced turn principle’. This means that an angular movement of the tow bar entails simultaneous movements of all caster sets in the train. This solution facilitates maneuvering, limits the turn radius and ensures full predictability of the train movement path.
